Chai syrup
Heres my recipe for my chai syrup, I usually make about 1 litre and I usually cover the bottom of my mug with the syrup and then top it off with warm milk for a nice chai latte:
3 cups brown sugar
4 sticks of cinnamon
12 cloves
1/4 tsp grated nutmeg
A pinch of whole pepper corns
6 cardomom pods
1 star anise (optional, I don’t really like anise so I skip it sometimes)
4 bags of black ceylan tea
1 litre of water
I let that simmer for 5 minutes and then after its cooled I strain it, bottle it up and store in the fridge.
