2026 Hoosier Hills Fiber Festival
The 2026 Hoosier Hills Fiber Festival will take place Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Johnson County Fairgrounds in Franklin, Indiana. Celebrating its 20th annual festival, this two-day event brings together fiber artists, makers, vendors, educators, and community groups for a welcoming celebration of fiber arts and old-time artisan skills.
The festival includes a vendor marketplace with multiple buildings of vendors, yarn trucks, food trucks, workshops, free lectures, demonstrations, guild displays, raffles, and animal shearing. Fiber enthusiasts can browse finished goods, raw fibers, supplies, tools, fiber animals, and handmade items from small businesses and shepherds, with many vendors based in Indiana.
For crocheters and yarn lovers, Hoosier Hills Fiber Festival offers a chance to discover new yarns, meet fiber artists, connect with the regional maker community, and learn more about the broader world of textile and needle arts. Workshop offerings include fiber arts topics such as crochet, knitting, spinning, weaving, embroidery, felting, natural dyes, and more.
Admission to the festival is free, and parking is also free. Workshops are available for a fee, with scholarship opportunities offered through the festival’s organizing nonprofit. Visitors are encouraged to check the official Hoosier Hills Fiber Festival website for the most current schedule, workshop registration, vendor maps, and event updates.
