Downtown Dallas – all of Main Street for FIFA (the World Cup)
Install Dates: Friday, May 29, 9:00 – 4:00 pm
Saturday, May 30, 9:00 – finished
We will be covering almost all of the trees on Main from Main Street Garden to Griffin St. Basically, we’ll have yarn wrapped trees and bike racks all the way across Downtown! I’m very excited that our city wants to show off our work for all of the international guests to enjoy. Yay! I feel like we’ve made it. Yarn bombing is soooo Dallas now! Congrats y’all!
To make: One of our DYB members suggested making soccer balls to put in a few of the trees. If this interests you, they are welcome.
Parking: Well, it’s downtown… Use meter parking or Downtown parking garages and your best judgement.
Though we could be working anywhere along Main St., a central address for your GPS is:
1500 Main St. Dallas, TX Then, follow the yarn to find us.
Take down date: Saturday, August 8, 7:00 am or whenever dawn is, so we don’t get too hot.
