This is just off the top of my head, if I think of more I’ll add more, and if anyone else has suggestions please add them. No spoilers please.
Ring, Spiral and Loop — Koji Suzuki (there are two other pieces of fiction in this series, but my husband and I chose not to read them for personal reasons).
The Shining –Stephen King A classic. One of the few books I’ve read more than once.
A Head Full of Ghosts — Paul Tremblay Very atmospheric
Never Let Me Go — Kazuo Ishiguro Best to go into this one blind. Might not seem like horror.
