    I am already working on the Toni Cuffed Cardi for my sister and I also got this year’s bag kit for myself. And then I looked and realized I think I have enough stashed yarn to do the Tunisian crochet Savannah cardi from this year (I had two skeins of soft ombre from Michaels that were from a wrong dyelot so they replaced them and let me keep the two unmatched skeins, and I think having two skeins of that will be exactly right for the sweater🤞)

        I am making 2 from this year (Savannah cardi) and Gloria bag and one from a prior year (Toni cardi) unless I dig out my extra cotton for some coasters and placemats lol

    I just got this for my bag! I prefer to use cotton for bags, and this twist will look great with that stitch, I think 🤩🤞🏾

      Cotton for bags all the way, or at least lined with cotton! (I’m gonna line mine when I’m done). Love your colors!

    @bellavitagirl4 and @sammi.crochets I don’t like the colors I have in wool for the scarf and hat… Should/Could I do it in Big Twist/Red Heart Acrylic? Or Sugar and Cream Cotton? I’m definitely doing the bag and the tunisian sweater!

        I have found the sugar and cream softens up so beautifully once you work with it. It always surprises me. But you know I love K&C tooooo💗

    The granny square scarf could def be done in acrylic imo. Would be easy to wash. It depends on how breathable you want things to be but the pattern itself doesn’t seem to call for a lot of stitch definition and given the design I don’t think it would be too hot (besides you’re wearing that scarf to get warm).

    For the trio of scarves I wouldn’t do acrylic though bc those are more accessories you wear all day, not something for winter days to be warm.

    Also sugar and cream cotton is SOOOOOO scratchy I wouldn’t put that near my skin or face lol

        Tunisian is so fun! Enjoy!

        PSA to anyone doing first time Tunisian – watch your hook hand and thumb positioning carefully, don’t put too much pressure on your thumb joint bc it will mess up your arm/wrist/hand/shoulder. If you are noticing any pain w Tunisian stop immediately and troubleshoot your grip. It seems to be a somewhat frequent issue for newbie TC folks.

        I am happy to help folks troubleshoot as best as I can, I just went through grip correction myself with TC

    my Gloria Tote progress! 🤩🤩 one thing to note, which Toni doesn’t say as far as I can tell, the chains for the border don’t count as a stitch. in her video, it looks likes she works into it, but for the count to be correct, they are skipped 🤷🏾‍♀️

    Looks beautiful!! The pattern does say not to count the chain 2 ◡̈ Took me several tries to figure it out. Kept screwing up my count.

      thank youu! yes, it does say not to count the chain 2 as a double crochet, but when you’re first going around after the border, it doesn’t say anything for the chain 1 in the corners!

      of course! I kept ending up with 54 double crochets and 17 chain 3s, but you’re always supposed to end with a chain 3 into the first double crochet, so 51 double crochets total, and 17 chain 3s.

        🤦🏻‍♀️ pretty sure I ended up fudging it a bit, but it seems to be working… 🤞🏻. I am not 100% a perfectionist… which often gets me in trouble.
