This beginner-friendly soap sack pattern is designed to help crocheters turn yarn they already have into something practical, handmade, and meaningful. Each finished soap sack is made to hold unopened soap and can be donated to someone in your local community as part of this year’s Summer Stash Bash challenge.

For Summer Stash Bash 2026, Yarn Over Hook is partnering with S.A.C.K., Supporting A Community with Kindness, to encourage crocheters around the world to donate 1,000 crocheted soap sacks with soap.
